The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time Gc Iso Functional

For example, when you choose to play the NES Legend of Zelda from the Collector's Edition menu, the ISO boots the.tgc file, which emulates Zelda 1. As I explained in. Zelda 1 and 2 function fine when extracted as standalone GameCube titles, but Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask do not. The ocarina of time debug version is a leaked n64 rom of the legend of zelda: ocarina of time with several neat development features enabled. This document will attempt to describe these featues in as much detail as possible. This rom is based on master quest, so some differences will be visible from regular oot roms.
Technically yes, you can probably play the game with the GC launcher but why would you want to. Yes it can work if you insert it into the iso and repack it. What is not great is the compatability as it works with only a couple of games and even then, there are graphical glitches and such. Also remember that because it only has 2 roms, Ocarina of Time and Masterquest, you can only insert two roms. As I said, an emulator is being worked on and every game that has been emulated so far using the disk can be inserted into the Virtual Console. Angry was the wrong word but I was just annoyed that you could not just search for the answers on Google. Here is a tutorial that i used a couple of years ago.
--- Heres the tutorial by Icetoad from wii-ftw (www.wii-ftw.com) please go onto there site a direct any questions you have to him, not me In order to be able to emulate N64 titles using the Gamecube mode on your Wii, you will need the following: 1. Selfboot GCOS Multigame version (make-multiv2.exe) 2. GC-Tool Version 1.20 beta (Paradox release) 3. Nintendo 64 Emulator V2.0 (Experience release) 4. N64 roms (only a few will work unforunately, see below) 5.
A hex editor (optional) Step 1. Open GC-Tool and open the.gcm file included with the N64 Emulator. Now, use the menu on the right side of GC-Tool to replace the file zelda2p.n64 with your rom file. When it asks you to change the filesize in the TOC, say No. Now you have a.gcm file with the chosen rom inserted into the emulator. Step 2 (optional, but recommended) Now you are going to want to edit the gcm image name to make it easier to choose the rom in GCOS.
To do this, open your hex editor and choose the gcm file. Set the hex editor to ASCII mode and find the title of the image file. Now replace the default title with the name of your rom. Once you have a collection of gcms with different roms inserted, you are ready to make a multigame boot disc. Move all your gcm files to the same directory as the make-multiv2.exe program. Open a dos command prompt and type the following in the same directory as the exe. Make-multiv2.exe output.gcm USA game1.gcm game2.gcm etc Make sure to specify your region.
Once the program has finished, you now have a GCOS multigame boot disc containing a number of different N64 bootable images. Burn this image using your favorite burner. Note about compatible roms: Since this uses the Zelda emulator contained on the Masterquest disc, only certain roms will function correctly after they are inserted.
Confirmed working by myself: Mario 64 - perfect w/ save functionality Mace: The Dark Ages - perfect Star Soldier - perfect Wave Race - perfect Pilot Wings - some graphical glitches, save functionality Duke Nukem 64 - perfect w/ save functionality Star Fox 64 - perfect Kirby 64 - no audio Mario Kart 64 - some small graphics and sound glitches, save functionality The following are games which have been mentioned on other sites as working, but which still gave me problems. Banjo Kazooie - doesn't load Blast Corps - doesn't load NHL 99 - doesn't load Body Harvest - doesn't load International Superstar Soccer 98 - freezes when entering game Hercules: The Legendary Journey - doesn't load Apparently some of these need to be patched before they will work. I will explore this further in the future. --- Hope this help. Also, mods, if thhis infringes on any rules, please remove this post.
