Hacking Web Services By Shriraj Shah Ebooking

Hi I am looking to use OEPE to allow me to adapt a RAD approach to the web part of our applications while keeping our CI builds consistant. We use WebLogic 10.3 with struts 1.2.9, Spring 2.5, Hibernate 3.X and maven 2. I am using Eclipse 3.5 SR1 with OEPE version Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse 11.1.1.3.0 I created a test Dynamic Web Application using maven 2 and this works OK with a test WebLogic Server 10.3. I then deleted this from the WebLogic Server so I could try using it with OEPE. I deploy this Dynamic Web Application using OEPE (via autogenerated_ear_) to WebLogic Server My initial problems were classpath errors where it seems that my Maven dependent jars were NOT picked up by my web application.

To overcome this I copied the maven dependencies to my web app src main webapp WEB-INF lib I could then use my initial struts action but failed with: Root cause of ServletException. HI I installed the plumtree portal (PlumtreePortal_v5-0.exe) and Content server (PlumtreeContentServer_v5-0.exe). The portal is working fine. But When I completed the installation of content server I received the following errors, when I checked the diagnosticTests.jsp Which tells whether the installation is successful or not. I found 2 bugs - Root Section Publishing Target - Root Section Preview Target Possible Resolution is as follows.

The Publishing Target Browser Path is invalid. The item was published successfully but could not be found at the Browser Path.

To change the publishing target right click on the root folder in Content Explorer and choose 'Publishing Target'. Click on the Publish Tab. Change the Browser Path to a valid path. I am not able to find the Content server explorer. Please let me know how and where can I find content server editor Thanks Vivek.

Hi, I have an application that sends sms from the web. So far the message has been sent in ISO8859-1 encoding. All chars but the euro-char works fine. Now I want to change the encoding to GSM7BIT. Here is when i encounter problems.

My server is Tomcat6 on Ubuntu os. I am using Logicas SMPP-package to send the sms. When I call the method: 'SubmitSM.setShortMessage(message,Data.ENC_GSM7BIT);'.

I get an error: 'java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException: X-Gsm7Bit'. The file java.nio.charset.spi.CharsetProvider is in the directory ROOT/META-INF/services/. In the file, on line of text is written: org.smpp.charset.Gsm7BitCharsetProvider. This is the path to the corresponding class-file. The class can be found in the directory: ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/org/smpp/charset/ (I also tried to put the file in the directory: ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/META-INF/services/) The API for CharsetProvider says that the file (java.nio.charset.spi.CharsetProvider) must be encoded in UTF8. Maybe this is why it doesn't work?

Is there any way you can decode a file from ASCII to UTF8? Today i downloaded the JCharset - Java Charset package and put the jcharset.jar file in the directory ROOT/WEB-INF/classes (where all my other jar-files are). I also added the path to my CLASSPATH environment variable, but I still get the same error. Is there anyone who know a solution to this problem(s)? Best Regards Lisa. Hi, We have a REST application working fine in jboss-6.0.0.Final which we want to migrate to jboss-as-7.0.2. When I deploy the war file to jboss-as-7.0.2 it gives me an error saying 'Caused by: org.hibernate.HibernateException: /hibernate.cfg.xml not found'.

Hibernate.cfg.xml file is located in WEB-INF/classes/ folder. I tried moving the file around (WEB-INF/ folder, WEB-INF/lib/ folder, root folder (/)) but no luck. Project is setup as a 'Dynamic Web Project' in Eclipse and I use jboss tools to generate the war file.

Directory structure is as follows and nothing fancy. Example.war - META-INF MANIFEST.MF WEB-INF classes hibernate.cfg.xml example-infinispan.xml com/* lib web.xml. Hi You’ve mentioned that you ran the addcontentdb, how did you do it?

Are you installing to a windows web server, or NetWare? If Netware, you wouldn 't specify a mapped drive, but an actual server volume/directory.

Edited by: Nikita Kravtsov on Aug 18, 2010 7:24 AM. Hi Team, I found an issue with sharepoint 2010 standalone installation. While i already have installed the same setup on this machine but because of some issue of framework 4.0 i need to uninstall that.

Now again when i tried the same setup with framework 3.5, it un-succeeded. I found one log file in which, there is some information which may help to diagnostic this. The reason why your server can't find it, is likely because you have path set to '. Did you try setting the path to 'root' or wherever you have placed your servlet?OK. I changed the path to be path='/ROOT' and also tried path='ROOT'. Let me reiterate how I have everything: 1.I have it working on my local box but am trying to deploy to our web server. I'm getting 404 -File No Found error when trying to run servlet.

Servlet file is./tomcat/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes/FDFServlet.class 4. No package in the servlet file. Web.xml file is./tomcat/webapps/ROOT/Web-INF/web.xml web-app servlet servlet-namefdfservlet/servlet-name servlet-classFDFServlet/servlet-class /servlet servlet-mapping servlet-namefdfservlet/servlet-name url-pattern/fdfservlet/url-pattern /servlet-mapping /web-app 6.

Tomcat's web.xml, I have commented out the servlet-mapping for 'invoker' 7. Server.xml file contains Context path='ROOT' docBase='/usr/tomcat4.1.24/webapps/ROOT' debug='0' reloadable='true' / 8. JSP has form method='post' action='/fdfservlet' I know I must be missing something but everything that I try doesn't seem work.

Hi, Probably it is much too late, but I had the same problem and I browsed through this topic. At last I started to work through the following guidelines again. In my case there were two problems: 1) Context path=' docBase='ROOT' debug='0'/ Putting this in the TomcatHomedir/conf/server.xml file (uncomment it) and putting the class in the TomcatHomedir/webapps/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes directory, worked. 2) I called my servlet 'Mytest' which resulted in a server startup error (node not unique). Bad luck in this case.

However probably far too late, I wanted to give you this information. In my adapter initialization I'd like to load an XML file from the RAR. In JBoss 3 I just do URL url = getClass().getClassLoader().getResource(pathname); where pathname is the path from the root of the RAR-file like META-INF/myconfig.xml In WebLogic 6.1 this returns null.

Is there maybe some restriction on access to files? Or do I need another classloader? Or is it a bug? I also tried a path outside META-INF, just in case that one has another classloader or other restrictions. I've found some messages here, that could be caused by the same problem, but there were no answers:-(.

'Hans Bausewein' hans.bausewein@marketxs.com wrote. Is there maybe some restriction on access to files? Or do I need another classloader? Or is it a bug? To answer my own question;-) I call url.openStream() in a piece of privileged code in a PrivilegedAction. I've found it in section 10.7 of J2EE Connector Architecture and Enterprise Application Integration by Rahul Sharma: No need to modify the security-permission-spec in META-INF/ra.xml, because the adapter has already read-access to the filesystem. On Sun's J2EE reference implementation I had to move the file into the jar (in the RAR) with the Class where I need the resource.

It simply did not copy my file from META-INF to the deployed RAR. I have not tested this with WebLogic. The same adapter runs now on JBoss 3, WebLogic 6.1 and Suns J2EE RI 1.3 so I'm happy:-) Hans. Hi Jay/Tomaz, Great to know that I can create custom module repository.

I may have time to try that next week. But, the question remains not answered: how the path attribute is interpreted in the resource-root / element in jboss-deployment-structure.xml when in an EAR or a WAR? Can the path attribute refer to a file/location outside the default/custom modules directory, such as './././relative/to/file' or '/absolute/path/to/directory'? And, when it value is 'my-lib.jar', where does JBoss look for the my-lib.jar? Something to do with theC: Program Files Microsoft Office Servers 15.0 Data Office Server There is an Analytics_GUID folder not being able to be shared.

Try Sharing it manually. Re-run the wizard, should work check this post for more clarification. Hi Experts, We are using Netweaver Portal 7.3, i am facing problem when trying to customize the login page, i have downloaded tc~sec~ume~logon~ui.war from Installation drive: usr sap SID J00 j2ee cluster apps sap.com com.sap.security. Pipenet Free Download Crack Autocad. core.logon servlet_jsp logon_ui_resources After doing this i have imported the WAR file into SAP NWDS (7.3 SP07 PAT0000). Please Advice what to be done.

Hi All, Thanks for your support, i have raised an OSS ticket, following is the reply from SAP team. The 'DeviceType' parameter of the equalsIgnoreCase() clause, which your IDE cannot resove is a variable, actually. You can see it being initialized in the certLogonPage.jsp. Somewhat later there the certLogonPageMobile.jsp is being included, so runtime these 2 jsp-s willwork with no problem.

The compilation error you get is due to the fact that the IDE doesn't resolve and follow the include clauses, hence it cannot know that the 'DeviceType' variable has been declared and initialized in another jsp. This is actually no issue, and your application will work at runtime. Please, ignore this kind of compilation errors. I have an enterprise application archive (.ear) containing at least one.war archive. The webapp references libraries in the root of the.ear archive through the META-INF/MANIFEST.MF Class-Path: reference. This.ear also contains an ejb that makes references to the common libraries using it's manifest file. The archive deploys and executes properly. Now I unzip this archive into a.ear directory.

The enterprise application deploys the webapp and the ejb, however, when accessing the webapp a failure occurs. The webapp cannot find the referenced libraries in the manifest file.

I do not know if the ejb library references are working properly. My work-around is to copy all of the.ear libraries into the WEB-INF/lib directory of the webapp during development. For production I package the enterprise application into a.ear archive and all works per the specification. Any other work-arounds?It is hard to consider this a bug since the J2EE specs do not specify how an exploded archive should behave, but it would be nice if I could explode my archive into a directory and have it work the same as if it were archived.A side note: Actually, the webapp successfully references ear libraries during loading (struts action is found), but after loading it does not reference the libraries. This phenomenon is over-detailed inFile:Manifest-Version: 1.0Class-Path: standard.jar jstl.jar struts.jar commons-beanutils.jar commons-collections.jar commons-logging.jar commons-digester.jar xtags.jar i18n.jar commons-dbcp.jar commons-pool.jar commons-services.jar commons-validator.jar dom4j.jarDirectory Structure.ear--standard.jar--jstl.jar-.other jars--myEjb.jar--META-INF----MANIFEST.MF (references libs from.ear root)--myWebapp.war--META-INF----MANIFEST.MF (references libs from.ear root)--web app resources.--WEB-INF----lib------contains no libraries.

Hello, i have an HPUX 11i system which has 8i and 9204 EE single-instance databases running on it. It has no 10g related isntallations. I am doing OEM 10g installation which goes on smoothly till it reaches the Configuration Assistants stage. There the OC4J instance configuration assistant fails and the log file shows below errors: Initializing DCM.done.

OC4J instance 'home' already exists. OC4J instance 'OC4J_EM' already exists. Starting OC4J instance 'home'.done. Deploying application 'BC4J' to OC4J instance 'home'. ERROR: Caught exception during deploy.

I've managed to get past this error thanks to the forums over on the Oracle Metalink site. Apparently, you need two environmental variables set: TMP and TMP_DIR. What is happening is that the installer is writing temporarty files to the directory pointed to by $TMP. If it is not set, it writes the temporary files to the root directory, which in most systems, is read-only to the oracle user. You can either set the TMP and TMP_DIR environmental variables to a valid directory, or give write permissions to the root directory. I really need some oracle lite expert group to comment on this.

We are stuck on this applcation for a long time. The appis a war file and runs great on Tomcat. When I try to package the war file into a Jar file usinf the wtgpack/packaing wizard on web to go, It dispaly all the jsp files.

HI All, I have a scenario where I want have created a Spring module (Which works properly) the spring module is as following:?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'? There are two parts in this statement. First, by 'all paths', I'm referring to the linkage algorithm in JBoss Modules which operates on a granularity of directory paths (or packages, which are functionally equivalent to directory paths).

Secondly, in a module dependency relationship there are two participants: the dependency (which exports) and the dependent (which imports). The export side by default includes all paths always unless overridden with a different policy (this is what I mean by 'export all paths by default').

The import side by default excludes 'META-INF' and its subdirectories unless overridden with a different policy. Hope this clarifies things. (DatabaseSession)SessionManager.getManager().getDefaultSession() throws a fault 'The sessions.xml resource [sessions.xml] was not found on the resource path'. I've included sessions.xml in the root of the jar file, inside src/META-INF directory. Hi, since we migrated to 9.0.3.2 we always get the. Public_html WEB-INF lib CVS found Seems so that the Ide.ProjectExcludeFilters in ide.properties is ignored. Thanks, Markus. Hi All Gurus, I am using Struts 1.2.9, Java 1.5. I develop application with BetBeans 5.5 and make it.war and deploy it on Tomcat 5 which has virtual hosting. There are all.jar file in WEB-INF/lib including struts.jar, jstl.jar, standard.jar and etc.

And there are all.tld files including struts-bean.tld, struts-config.tld and etc. Every tagli-uri and taglib-location is mentioned in web.xml. First time, I got an error - /WEB-INF/struts-bean.tld not found.

I fixed it by changing taglib path to./WEB/INF/struts-bean in jsp file. The first question is that why I have to use relative path for the taglib path. I am not user what I did is right. Second, after fixing taglib path by doing 'not-sure' solution, I got an another error that I do not understand as well. Org.apache.jasper.JasperException: The absolute uri: cannot be resolved in either web.xml or the jar files deployed with this application When I run on localhost, there is no problem. But I deply it on remote tomcat5 and get errors. Do any guru have an idea?

I put segement of web.xml and.jsp down below. If you need more information to solve problem, I will post more. Thanks in advance. Hmm., the only time when one gets a 'not found error' is when something that is looking for the resource is not finding it for various reasons. You can check you Ant build to see if the JAR files are being moved correctly. When you install from scratch if you follow the instructions in the installation documents, things should be properly installed typically. I don't know much about Struts, but the idea is the same.

Instead of using struts-bean.tld from the WEB-INF folder can you use the one from the Internet URI? Perhaps you need to specify a mapping in web.xml for WEB-INF/struts-bean.tld incase you are using a local version instead of the one on the Internet. Does this need to be fix by manual errata? Or these would be driver/inf bugs? In AS51 I use CXF (using the Servlet integration, not JBoss-WS CXF). I'm migrating applications to AS7 and in doing so I don't want to re-code everything using JBoss-WS (still want to use the servlet integration and using the version of CXF that my applications were using).

To support that I decided to create my own module that contains version 2.2.12 (yeah I know) of CXF and all the libraries that come with its distribution. I took care to remove any dependencies that I could find other modules for. I'm getting this in JDeveloper when I go to compile my project: [11:36:45 AM] Compilation complete: 10 errors, 0 warnings. I have 4 jar files and they're in the WEB-INF lib folder and added to the project's path correctly under project properties. I moved another project (lets call it B) that was in the root of C: newcvs folder to keep it separated from this project (lets call that A).

I don't see how I'm getting this(A) compilation error all of the sudden though? I don't think I changed anything on the original(A) project?? This(A) compiled with no errors or warnings before I was moving the other project(B) to its own directory structure.

Any advice on how to get rid of these invalid archive messages? Hi Arun, It seems that in the second ant target, you decide to compile just a single jsp, while in the first you were trying to compile the complete jsps in a application. But in the second target, you forgot to mention -docroot / -webapp target. As a result, the specific error!! To actually debug the first target, try running the program first on commandline, using weblogic.jspc directly passing the arguments. This way, you would have a better control over the target, and may be able to isolate the issue easily. In the interest of good practise, does this sound ok to people?

I'm only 3 days into learning JSP/Servlets so forgive my innocance. Firstly I have Tomcat set to run my apps with reloadable=true while I develop. I'm using subversion is a mechanism for deployment of code which I'm thinking is either a good thing, or a smell in some way if I've overlooked something: Layout (no code developed inside the web root): /trunk/ROOT /trunk/ROOT/WEB-INF /trunk/ROOT/WEB-INF/classes /trunk/ROOT/classes Now I do all editting of.java files in the /trunk/classes directory, compile them to.class files using: javac -d ROOT/WEB-INF/classes classes/*****.java This keeps my.class and.java files separate. Finally I run: svn export --force ROOT /path/to/webapps/context/path/here It works, but is it sensible?:) PS: I work on my code from multiple locations so svn helps n that respect too. Firsly i installed jdk 1.3 on my computer.

Then i installed tomcat 4. Then i changed port 8080 in server.xml to 80. Then i set the JAVA_HOME path to point to jdk1.3 folder. Then i setup the class path to D: Documents and Settings Ashi Desktop tomcat apache-tomcat-4.1.34 apache-tomcat-4.1.34 common lib servlet.jar Then i downloaded a source file named HelloServlet.java from author's website and compiled it. It compiled successfully.

I copied the HelloServlet.class file to the classes directory that you asked me to create. Then i opened my browser and typed and getting error HTTP Status 404. Hi, I have a problem here. Let me describe it more detailed below: Normally, for JSP website, we have this structure:../WEB-INF./META-INF./classes./*.jsp From JSP files, I can easily access whatever files that are resided in WEB-INF by '/WEB-INF/.' However, for servlet (or classes) in./classes folder, I found no other ways than using the ABSOLUTE path.

For example, in./classes, I have a file named DBInit.java; inside that file, it is required to read an external file (DB.conf) in order to set-up the database. I tried a lot but can't find any where that I can put DB.conf so that I can use RELATIVE path. (So far, I must use ABSOLUTE path, which is not good in deployment to customer-side). Ant does not finish because it started task service as a java process and it waits till it finishes. I don't think you need to start standalone task server as you use one that is deployed to JBoss. You could remove start.human.task target from depends attribute of start.demo.db task and then ant target should complete after jboss was started. As it comes to the other part of the thread it seems little bit of misconfiguration of persistence, I believe that you persistence.xml for task uses data source that is defined in standalone.xml which uses jbpm5 user.

So if that's the case either create new data source for task db or use same configuration as mentioned in docs - define connection details as properties in persistence.xml and ensure that nonjta-data-source or jta-data-source is removed from task service persistence.xml HTH. I had the exact same issue but with Server 2008 R2 on ESX 5 in a server cluster environment. The primary partition C: was fine and you could see the space where the other volume was/is but if you try to give the drive a letter or look at the properties, you get the same error message that disk management is old and needs to be refreshed. If you restarted the machine it would attempt to install the volume as a generic volume device but then error out with that message that required section was not found in the inf before it errored out. After searching for generic volume required section was not found in the inf, I came across this post.

After backing up the registry and importing these keys, I attempted to re-install the unknown device in device manager and was successful this time. Pop open Computer and the E: volume was there. My worst-case scenario was going to be deleting the volume, recreating it, and copying the files from backup. Thanks for your post, you definitely helped me avoid a hokey work around.

We put the SuSE installation files on a NetWare 6.5 server. It in the path volume 9.0 For some reason the installtion doesn 't work correctly when using this setup. The FTP session uses authentication. It sets the folder to the root for 9.0 but the installion won 't start unless you specify volume 9.0. Seem like the installation routing is logging to the root of the volume even though the accounts home directory is set to 9.0. If I set the path to volume 9.0 the installation starts but when it gets to the screen where you select the products, it says no products found.

It like the path is messed up again. If we put the files on a Windows box and host them via FTP it works with no problem. What can I fix here? Thanks, John Jakus.

Thanks, John Jakus I figure you 've found an answer by now, but in case anyone else comes across this one: When installing SUSE from a NetWare FTP server, the path you need to enter in the SUSE installation FTP path dialog is based from the volume root of where your user 's FTP root dir is, so in your case all you needed to type in was 9.0 without any leading or trailing slashes.

If ftp root dir for user is vol1:/home/suse you would use the path home/suse/i386/9.0 or where ever the files are located. If you don 't use this syntax you 'll probably get the installation to start but have problems in the software package selection area, saying it can 't find the package list.

Sir, while deploying my ear file in jboss Application server, i got this exception.10:42:52,734 WARN [verifier] EJB spec violation:Bean: EmpDetailSection: 22.210:42:52,749 ERROR [MainDeployer] could not create deployment: file:/D:/jboss-4.0/server/default/tmp/deploy/tmp40250scl.ear-contents/scl.jarorg.jboss.deployment.DeploymentException: Verification of Enterprise Beans failed, see above for error messages. I'm attempting to create a package of my test results for my amd64 driver in HCK Studio, but it's failing with a signability error and I have no idea why. Every condition mentioned in the error seems to be met by my driver folder. Can anyone offer any tips? The following are the Signability error messages: - No installation INF found in the root path of the driver.

For the driver to be digitally signed, and for it to install properly the installation inf must be in the root of each driver path you have provided. If you have separate folders with different driver packages for different languages, operating systems or device categories then specify each driver set as a separate driver. Each driver package must be selected separately and must contain an installation INF. - 22.9.1: gearaspiwdm.sys in [gearaspiwdm.copyfiles] of x64 gearaspiwdm.inf is missing or cannot be decompressed from source media.

Please verify all path values specified in SourceDisksNames, SouceDisksFiles, and CopyFiles sections resolve to the actual location of the file, and are expressed in terms relative to the location of the inf. First, thank you very much for your help! I realized pretty quick that the error being given did not describe the real problem, but since this inf file was certified in years past and has been in successful use for years I didn't think the contents were the problem. So thanks for getting me to look inside the.inf.:) To make a long story short, removing the [DefaultInstall] section from the.inf file resolved the problem. I have no idea why this section would lead to the error that the tool was giving, but apparently it did. Now I need to figure out if it's OK for us to release without that section, or if I need to figure out WHY that section causes a problem and fix that.

I'll also fix the other errors that I can fix. A side note: the chkinf tool seems to be a bit dated. For example, it says that DriverPackageType is an unknown directive, but it is documented here: Thanks again for your help, I appreciate it!

You are absolutely mistaken. First of all you don't need to have examples dir at all. What it says is you need to have a dir structure like this, webapps Your_Own_App_Name jsp(s) (directly or in another folder) web-inf classes servlets (directly or in a package) beans (directly or in a package)Now your jsp(s) can find the servlet or beans in your web-inf classes dir. This entire folder 'Your_Own_App_Name' can be outside of your webapps too, but you need to set document root and context root in the server.xml file. I suggest you delete examples folder completely or keep it away from your Tomcat installation dir, just to take out confusion. Here your 'Your_Own_App_Name' will be referred as an Application whose context root is 'webapps Your_Own_App_Name'.

These are the necessary entries in your server.xml file. Context path='/Your_Own_App_Name' docBase='webapps/Your_Own_App_Name' crossContext='true' debug='0' reloadable='true' trusted='false' /ContextNow you can use the url, etc, etc. Keep your servlets in webapps Your_Own_App_Name web-inf classes directly or in a subfolder under this directory if they are in a package and use url like this to invoke them, Hope this helps. Have a nice time.

Hi, Till now i have been servlet programs by placing the class files in the following directory path. Ie ROOT/WEB-INF/CLASSES. And i access it like this My friend also works in my system.

So i get confused which is hers n which is mine. I know we can create a separate folder inside webapps directory and access. So i cretaed a folder called servpgms in webapps directory. Under serpgms i created web-inf and lib folders. Then inside web-inf i created classes folder n i placed class file there. But i have not written any web.xml file. So when i access my program like this ie.

I get HTTP 404 servlet not found. Can any one elaborate on writing the web.xml file and help me in creating a separate app?

Every tagli-uri and taglib-location is mentioned in web.xml. First time, I got an error - /WEB-INF/struts-bean.tld not found. I fixed it by changing taglib path to./WEB/INF/struts-bean in jsp file. The first question is that why I have to use relative path for the taglib path. I am not user what I did is right. But I deply it on remote tomcat5 and get errors. Do any guru have an idea? I put segement of web.xml and.jsp down below. If you need more information to solve problem, I will post more. In the servlet context root '.' If i put the jsp in the web-app-root (like /abc.jsp) i am able to get a requestDispatcher-object without troubles. There are only two INF files, one located in the root and one within Walmart/Files. I manually directed the installation wizard to both directories but the end result for both is the same. Nothing Happens. Just wondering if anyone has encountered a similar problem or if there is a fix around for this?

Cheers (winxpsp2). Hi forum, I'm taking the chance to put here an entry refering to my previous post made on the more general 'Jboss AS 7' community (cxf.xml and spring and jbossws-cxf-4.1.1.Final) Since the topic is really related to the Web service stack, I hope I'll can get back some additional clues. To summarize: I my quest to make my webservice client working with a specific configuration, I did upgrate my JBOSS 7.1.1 final with jbossws-cxf-4.1.1.Final. I did the upgrate using instructions provider in I'm working with JBOSS 7.1.1 final. I updated the jboss-cxf stack to jbossws-cxf-4.1.1.Final, including the installation of spring, using -Dspring=true option, which I found is required in order for my cxf.xml file to be recognized by the runtime.the declaration of the springs schemas NOT recognized by my current installation. When I shutdowm my network services, I can see the attempt to resolve the schemas failed because the definition, included in the.jboss-as-7.1.1.Final modules org apache cxf impl main jars file are NOT correctly resolved (hence the fallback on the http).

Actually on further investigations it appeared I had a corrupted driver store: it just shouldn't be the case of 'pnputil -e' listing not ALL oem##.infs present, I also had an inordinately small c: Windows System32 DriverStore INFCACHE.1 file (40kB instead of 1.7mB) and c: Windows System32 DriverStore drvindex.dat was dated 2011, July 13. Also I couldn't add ANY printer with an error of 'can't find core package', and most inbox printer drivers would appear unsigned in the add printer dialog. Thanks god I've found my old HDD with this very system dated 2011, July 1. Everything works there. Vista is set to automatically download any new updates. It scans and reports 'No new updates found' but, there is a list of 24 system error messages about 'Kernel Drivers' which states 'error control CRITICIAL' Can you advise why it doesn't show that I need updates?

And also, I found a file in' Software environment- system driver configuration- Under Driver version it states 'Legacy Driver' in Device ID it gives the Root path but the Device Class, Manufacture, Inf Name, Driver Name it states 'Not Available'. It sounds like you've been installing drivers from Windows Update which isn't a good idea. You should probably reinstall/update your drivers from the correct source and then leave them alone. Set Windows Update to download and inform you when updates are ready instead of leaving the installation set to automatic. Then look at what the updates are and don't install drivers. See the general information below.

The First Law of Driver Updates is 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. Normally if everything is working you want to leave things as they are. The exception is that heavy-duty gamers will usually want to update their video and sound drivers to squeeze every last bit of performance out of the hardware to get the fastest frame rates. If you're not one of those people, you don't need to update your drivers if there are no problems you are trying to solve. Never get drivers from Windows Update. Get them from: 1.

The device mftr.' S website; OR 2. The motherboard mftr.' S website if hardware is onboard; OR 3.

The OEM's website for your specific machine if you have an OEM computer (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.). Read the installation instructions on the website where you get the drivers. To find out what hardware is in your computer: 1. Read any documentation you got when you bought the computer. If the computer is OEM, go to the OEM's website for your specific model machine and look at the specs (you'll be there to get the drivers anyway) 3.

My company is developing a typical tier-3 j2ee application and my job is it to make deployments on our applicationservers. Most things are working, but only some minor classes are not working under a BEA application server and I've no glue why.

I think it's an classloader problem, here the situation: 1. A web module called apphc.war is deployed in a seperate j2ee ear file 2. This ear file has only an application.xml setting the context-root for the module apphc.war MANIFEST.MF is nearly empty, only Manifest-Version,Ant-Version and Created-By are set 3. EAR file deployment is generally working at BEA using this file 4. In the web module apphc.war there is dummy weblogic-application.xml only setting weblogic-version 4.1 the web.xml is registing some JSP servlets 4.2 the MANIFEST.MF only sets this value 'Class-Path: WEB-INF/classes WEB-INF/lib' 5.

In the apphc.war module there are some classes (WEB-INF/lib) which were generated by an framework and are nearly empty. Some of this classes also exists in the WEB-INF/classes directory, but they are not empty, the have methods and more in it. Its an kind of 'overloading' generated classes. If I deploy the apphc.war module as an normal war web module, everything is working. But if I deploy this module in an ear file, some classes in the apphc.war module which should overload the empty classes in WEB-INF/lib where not found (to be correct, the created methods in this classes couldn't be found) and some jsp sites were getting unresolved symbol. If i deploy the same ear file on an Oracle appserver everything is working. I assume there is an different class-loading mechanism in BEA as in Oracle.

Who has an idea for this problem? Best thanks, Bjrn. Hi all, I thinks I'm nearly the thousand who is asking about the problem I have;-) but I can't find any solution for this. Hi All, I am facing the one weird issue. On my Jboss 4.2.3 once server starts it load the faces-config.xml for first time thats fine.

But when I logged into the application as a user and click on the pages it tries to load faces-config.xml for following liabraries from the war on every click which leads to slowness of the response. These issue is not consistent. Its happening on the ST enviironment (Linux box) but not on my development jboss which is windows 7. So I install fresh jboss on another linux box and after some time same issue started happening. All the help is highly appreciated. Thanks Novin following is the LOG on each click jboss prints where it tries to load config again and again.

I am trying to deploy a very basic bean as a seam backing bean.I am deploying the class in the WEB-INF/classes directory.

The JBoss logs indicate that seam scans the war file and finds the annotated class. I beleive Seam then attempts to deploy it as a backing bean, but does not know the classes are in the classes directory. It appears to deploy from the root of the war file.

It thinks the classes should be in the package WEB-INF/classes/web/utils. Any ideas why?
