This continues until about 5.4gb, when it starts to ramp back up again in pace and finishes the install. Nothing happens for like 10 minutes so i force power off. Turn it back on and everything seems fine. Load the game, and during the loading screen it flickers a bit.

Then it freezes on the 'Loading Story Mode'. I turn it off, safe mode, and do a complete restore PS3 system. Everything wiped. Attempt to install the game again and the exact thing happens again. Snails pace/stops for about 20-30 mins betweeen 4.5-5.5gb, then starts picking it up again and finishes. Start the game and then freezes when i get in a car (about 20 seconds earlier than the first time).

When i force power off, i try play the game again and it freezes again on Loading Story Mode. I have tried every option on safe mode including a complete restore. I bought the game brand new today so the disc is completely free of scratches.

From the flickering on the loading screen, im 99% sure that the game isnt installing properly and thats why its happening. What do people think? Is it a blu ray laser problem or is a HD problem?
